Brandon Bear

So the last post was Brandon sitting on my lap writing to all of you. He is an amazing writer isn't he? We have to admit that he is only 4 months so spelling isn't his strong point right now. :)

The last week or so....

Thursday, August 21- was Brandon't 4 month birthday. He celebrated it being sick. Due to his shots his temp went up to 103. We were a bit worried but Tylenol helped bring it down. He was achy too. He just wanted to be held or left alone totally. Poor guy!

Friday, August 22- We went to the cabin. We were early so dad got to golf Friday afternoon. That evening Brandon must have still been feeling crummy or something??? He woke up at 10pm, and again at 11:15pm and screamed until 12:30 or so. Nothing would calm him down. He finally fell asleep and did good throughout the night.

Saturday, August 23- Brandon woke at 9ish. We were glad he got some sleep. He hung out with dad while mom helped make bfast. Dad then out him down for a nap at 12:30 then went to play golf again. I went and joined Brandon at 1:30. He slept until 3:30pm!!!! He was great. He must still be shaking off the bug. We had a great rest of the day- he sat in his bouncy car- his toes barely touched.

Sunday, August 24- We went to brunch with Gma and Gpa. We went back to the cabin where mom napped and dad took care of Brandon. Then we headed home. Brandon slept the whole way and did great.

Other new things...

Brandon has found his toes. He loves playing with them!

He is standing as well. We hold onto his hands or body but he really likes standing.

He laughs alot more. I tickle him during diaper changes and he laughs.

He grabs things really well- including his bottle. If you put it in front of him he will grasp it and tip it to eat. Most times he misjudges his mouth and the nipple goes into his nose- but he is getting the point.

He is a DROOL KING! He drools alot. This may be the first sign of teething???
