What does a girl have to do to write a blog?

What am I to do? When it is time to update the blog here is what I run into. This is Brandons older brother, Ash. Rob has had him since 2000 and he is a great cat. He just doesn't like it when anyone uses the lap top. He is okay that Rob plays xbox but when the lap top comes out...he doesn't like it. Whoever thought I would have to fight the cat to use the lap top. In the end....I WON!

Monday Brandon came with mom to work. He is being added to the payroll. He did so good...smiles, talking, and slept in his stroller too.

Everyone loved to see him. I had a packed office. Look at how BIG he is!!!

More than anything they loved his shoes!!! They were from moms friend Terry.

One BUSY weekend

We had a very busy weekend.

Friday we headed back to the cabin. Auntie Nicky and Uncle Garret came up too. We really just finished watching the Twins game and went to bed.

Saturday was a busy day. Auntie, Gma, and Uncle watched Brandon so mom, dad, and Gpa could go to the driving range. This new golf thing is too fun. We are trying to find baby clubs but they don't exist. Dad and Gpa went on to play 18 holes while Mom, Auntie, and Uncle went shopping, ate lunch, and toured the town. Once we got home it was nap time. After nap we decided it was time for a boat ride and swimming. Brandon loves the boat rides. We decided to jump off the pontoon. Yes, Brandon too....ok- not really jump but he went in. He had a life jacket on and then sat in an inflatable turtle. He screamed while he got in and got out other than that he loved it. He actually fell asleep in the turtle. Once we got home he got a bath and got ready for bed. He loved the busy day. We actually got him laughing really hard. His whole body was shaking deep belly laughs. We had 3 cameras to capture the giggles and all 3 had issues (battery died or memory card was full). GRRRR!!!!!!! I will have to get it more later.

Sunday dad and Gpa played another 18 holes in between thunderstorms. Mom and Brandon stayed at the cabin relaxing, reading, watching movies, walking around the yard....

It was a busy weekend.

BIG NEWS!!!

Every time I ask someone to guess our big news at the Jurgens house it is usually people thinking we are pregnant again....we NO...we aren't. As much as we have thought about it and looking forward to that time....we need to wait a little bit.

Our big news at the Jurgens house is that Brandon is sleeping through the night! We went from waking every hour or so to sleeping from 9pm to 5am. That is sleeping through the night for us! The change happened immediately over night last week Wednesday. He was waking every 45 minutes or so. I would nurse him and he would fall asleep. So we talked to the dr. and she said to try and increase his food intake. The next night we upped his amount and added rice cereal in the bottle and he zonked out and slept well. I didn't sleep too well since I was up wondering what was going on and why I didn't hear him. I went and checked on him at 4am and he was fine!
