Hot Summer Day

Today it got up to 94 degrees. Thank goodness we got our air conditioning fixed last week. Otherwise it would not be fun. The annoying thing about this new house we are in is that you can't let the air blow through the house when you open the windows. We have to put the deck on so we can keep the deck door open. I am not risking being the next news story of a toddler (or cat) pushing through the screen deck door and falling 2 stories down.

We spent the day inside to stay cool. We did our daily Diet Coke run at Super America and Branon's curls on the back of his head curled really tight. He was hot and sweaty from a 2 mile trip. We finished dinner early and filled up a pool for Punky to play in. He had some trouble getting in but once in the pool he loved it. I (mom) got in with him so he would feel more comfortable. Together Brandon and I soaked dad!

After the pool party we went back to the cool air inside and got our jammies on early. We played with some new toys- and moms camera, dads Blackberry, and moms lap top. Those are some expensive new toys.

After a tantrum (we don't let him tip his water glass all over him) it was time for bed. Even though we stayed inside for the day he still played hard and went to sleep a bit early. He has been sleeping in really late these past few days too.

Oh- it is also officialy: Toofers 7 and 8 have arrived, unpacked and made themselves at home. They did this rather quickly. When I peeked today they were half way up to his other 2 teeth that are almost toally in. 7 and 8 are a bit pushy aren't they.
