'Gimmie"
NO! Don't start the demanding 'gimmie' phase.
Today Brandon came in the kitchen when I was cleaning and doing dishes. He asked for a snack and kind of squeezed in front of me. I had to dry my hands and he kept scooting around me saying, "gimmie, gimmie, gimmie".
I scolded him a bit saying, "No, you don't need to be demanding Brandon, please have patience." all while drying my hands and mazing around a two year old.
He kept saying. 'gimmie, gimmie'.
I was getting a little upset with this 'gimmie' thing.
I realized I needed to slow his 'gimmie' down only to realize he was saying 'Excuse Me' but it sounds like "gimmie".
I have to say for two years old his manners are really good. After I gave him a snack, he immediately said, "Thank you mommy." When he asks for something he always says 'please mommy'. When he has a little toot- he always says 'Gimmie' or rather 'excuse me'.
I am glad we haven't started the 'Gimmie' phase but rather 'Excuse me'

14 weeks it's heavenly
I have hit 14 weeks!
What a difference. It is kind of like a light switch turning on or off.
I went from total exhaustion and wanting to sleep a lot to not sleeping at all. I do sleep okay at night but no more napping during the day. It is a nice feeling.
The turning tummy has also gotten better. I still have my moments but it is much better. I have lost 15-20 pounds (which I really needed to loose). Since my foot surgery in January my movement has been very little. I wasn't allowed to work out at all for 8-10 weeks and then I got pregnant and never started up again. Now that I am feeling better I do a bit more. It was a never ending circle of feeling sick, not wanting to eat, super weak, feeling like I was going to pass out, resting....all meant no movement and no working out...but the little eating helped me shed a few pounds. I am still not eating a whole lot at times. I go in spurts but the last 3-4 days it has been a few bites a day. I am patiently waiting for that to go away.
My first OB appointment is on Tuesday-next week. I have waited this long because I really haven't seen a need to rush in only for them to say, 'Yup- you're pregnant'. I have talked to my OB and she said I can wait until I am 20 weeks if I wanted to but if we wanted the first trimester screening then I need to come in. Rob and I chatted and we figured-why not. So we will see what Tuesday brings.
Brandon is doing really well! He is a talker, talker, talker!
"See that" is "deeat"
"Watch" is "wach"
"Do you know what?" is "duknowhut"
"Come On' is 'Cmon'
It is SO fun to hear him with new words and phrases. Sometimes you have to hear what he says-slow it WAY down and then figure out what he says.
